Leeds Beckett SU exists to make students’ lives better and you’re applying at an exciting time as we recruit a new Student Voice & Insight team, relocate to a new home at our City Campus and deliver a new blended remote and on-campus service for our students.

The Academic Representation Team Leader will take the lead on the delivery of our academic representation and student engagement activities, working alongside a team of student academic representation assistants to ensure that students are able to express their ideas and feedback in order to create positive change on their courses, within the University, and in the wider community. The higher education sector is entering an interesting future where academic representation has never been more important, so an ability to challenge conventional wisdom and offer new and innovative ways of thinking and working is desirable. The successful candidate will primarily be driven to bring people together, identify ways to improve our service and have a track record in delivering results. A background or experience in education is preferred but not essential; evidence of inspiring and supporting people is.
