Great workplaces don't happen by accident. They happen because somebody keeps everything running smoothly.
We're looking for an organised, proactive and people-focused HR Coordinator to join our People & Governance team.
As our HR Coordinator, you'll play a key role in supporting colleagues throughout the employee lifecycle. From welcoming new starters and coordinating recruitment campaigns, to maintaining records, supporting payroll and helping managers navigate processes, you'll be at the heart of making sure our people experience is positive, efficient and compliant.
No two days are quite the same. One day you might be arranging interviews and issuing contracts, the next you'll be helping improve a process, updating employee records, or supporting a colleague with a query. If variety, responsibility and meaningful work appeal to you, we'd love to hear from you.
What you'll be doing
- Coordinating recruitment activity from advert to appointment and onboarding
- Organising interviews, assessments and pre-employment checks
- Preparing contracts, offer letters and onboarding documentation
- Maintaining accurate employee records and HR systems
- Supporting monthly payroll administration and associated processes
- Monitoring probation periods, fixed-term contracts and compliance requirements
- Acting as a first point of contact for HR-related enquiries
- Producing reports and supporting continuous improvement projects
- Helping deliver a positive employee experience throughout the employee lifecycle
- Championing and promoting our values and behaviours through everything you do, helping to create an inclusive, supportive and values-led workplace
What we're looking for
We're particularly interested in hearing from people who can demonstrate:
✅ Exceptional organisation and the ability to manage multiple priorities
✅ Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
✅ Strong time-management and prioritisation skills
✅ Confidence handling confidential and sensitive information
✅ Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
✅ A proactive, solutions-focused mindset
✅ Experience supporting recruitment, onboarding, payroll or wider HR administration
✅ A commitment to equality, diversity, inclusion and creating positive workplace experiences
Why join us?
We offer:
- 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays and discretionary Christmas closure days
- Hybrid working
- Employer pension contributions
- Paid volunteering leave
- Enhanced family-friendly policies
- Employee Assistance Programme
- Learning and development opportunities
- The opportunity to make a genuine difference in a values-led organisation supporting students
