Student Trustee

This position is available to current Leeds Beckett students only.

Leeds Beckett Students’ Union exists to make the lives of our 25,000 student members better. We are looking for enthusiastic and motivated student trustees to join our Board of Trustees.

Our Board of Trustees comprises 4 student officer trustees, 4 external trustees, 1 trustee nominated by the University and 4 student trustees. Together, the Board provides strategic direction for the SU and hold the Chief Executive to account as well as using their individual expertise to provide support and advice.

The Board of Trustees meets 5 times a year (usually in October, December, February, April and May) at our Leeds City Centre campus. In addition to the main Trustee role, there is an opportunity to further volunteer on our Audit, Finance and HR Committee, and our Governance and Nominations Committee.
