Venue Student Staff (multiple roles available)

To apply for this position, you must be a Leeds Beckett student between July 2024 and June 2025

Salary: Real Living Wage (£12 per hour)
Hours of work: The contract is zero hours, fixed term until June 2025, there is a requirement for all venue student staff to work a certain number of special events per term in addition to weekly shifts.  

All successful candidates must be able to attend compulsory training at the students’ union on Thursday 12th September 2024.

Location: Leeds Beckett Students’ Union, Portland Way, Leeds.

Introduction

The Venue Student Staff role will work in our venues at Leeds Beckett Students’ Union. We are looking for multiple students with a can do approach to work to join us in delivering an outstanding customer experience to visitors of our venues at the SU.

If you are pro-active, approachable and have a can do attitude, we’d love to hear from you. Feel you don’t have any experience in hospitality? Don’t worry, we will train you in everything you need to know to do the job, we’re looking for people with the right attitude and behaviours to join our team!

Some examples of the work that these roles can expect to be involved in include:

  • Working on the bar
  • Preparing simple meals
  • Table Service
